Mission Statement

The Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce (Ontario), the SCCC, is a non-profit organization that provides a networking platform for members and strengthens their connections in the Toronto business ecosystem.

The SCCC actively co-operates with the official Swiss representations in Canada (the Embassy in Ottawa and the Consulate General in Montreal) as well as with other chambers in the GTA.

Our members come from a wide range of industries and represent a mix of Swiss and Canadian firms and individuals. Most members have a connection to Switzerland, be it through business, culturally or personally.

Our Chamber encourages and supports diversity, our roster includes multinational corporations, SMEs, entrepreneurs as well as individual members. Everyone has a place in the SCCC and everyone's contribution is valued!

We look forward to welcoming you / your firm!

The SCCC is committed to supporting equity, diversity and inclusion
At the SCCC, we believe in equity, diversity, and inclusion. As an organization that promotes connections between people and businesses across borders and oceans we feel that this is core to our values. We are committed to cultivating diversity among our members and volunteers. As a Chamber we strive to make sustainable progress in this area both internally as well as in our interactions with our stakeholders.

We will concentrate our focus on cultivating these values and expect the same from our members and the partners we work with. This will allow us to build an equitable, diverse and inclusive environment that will be welcoming to everyone.

Everyone has a place at the SCCC.

Chamber History

The SCCC, originally called the Swiss Canadian Business Association, was founded in 1966 in Toronto by Swiss-Canadian businessmen. Its original objective was to encourage trade and investment between Canada and Switzerland and to provide networking opportunities for corporations and individuals.

The SCCC continues to organize topical events with guest speakers, insightful panel discussions on a wide range of topics, or member specific events.

For Swiss companies looking to establish themselves in Ontario, it is the networking opportunities the SCCC provides that will truly boost your presence in Canada. Specific business development support is provided through our partner, the Swiss Business Hub, which is part of Switzerland Global Enterprise and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Montreal.
