A fantastic experience that I was fortunate to be a part of as a representative of the Swiss-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. I had the privilege of experiencing in person, and on my wrist, what it’s like to wear Piaget’s 2mm thick Altiplano watch. As a lover of technology and pushing the limits this watch required the Swiss watch making leader Piaget to completely re-think the mechanical workings to make the watch work – without digital assistance – at this thickness. You swing your arm, and it re-winds! In my opinion, the watch-making equivalent of going to the moon!
