On May 7, the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce (Ontario) welcomed members and guests to an engaging evening with leadership expert and TEDx speaker Emile Studham at Victoria Hotel.

Throughout the evening, Emile challenged attendees to rethink traditional approaches to leadership and team performance. Drawing on his expertise in leadership development and organizational culture, he shared practical strategies for building trust, strengthening communication, fostering accountability, and creating environments where individuals and teams can perform at their best.

A highlight of the event was the interactive component. Participants were divided into small groups and encouraged to work together on exercises that allowed them to practice and apply the concepts discussed throughout the presentation. These collaborative activities sparked meaningful conversations, encouraged new perspectives, and demonstrated how intentional leadership behaviours can positively influence team dynamics and workplace culture.

In addition to keynote presentations, executive coaching, and leadership development programs, Emile works with organizations through team performance workshops, culture transformation initiatives, strategic facilitation, and leadership retreats. His work focuses on helping organizations strengthen culture, improve collaboration, increase employee engagement, and build high-performing teams through practical, actionable approaches.

The evening also provided valuable networking opportunities for professionals from a variety of industries to connect, exchange ideas, and share experiences.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the team at Victoria Hotel for their warm hospitality and support in hosting this event. In particular, we would like to recognize Emeline Boul and Yukta Gurung for their professionalism, attention to detail, and for helping create a welcoming and seamless experience for our members and guests. Their support, along with the excellent accommodations and event space provided by Victoria Hotel, contributed greatly to the success of the evening.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and a special thank you to Emile for sharing his expertise and facilitating an engaging and interactive experience that left attendees with practical tools and insights they can bring back to their organizations.
